USOutdoor.com
The outdoor season is getting started, time to talk about some of the shops where we can buy our stuff! I will add more outdoor shops reviews in the weeks to come, but let’s start with the first great outdoors store in line: USoutdoor.com.
USoutdoor is a online shop where you can buy all sorts of equipment, gear and clothing for outdoor activities. They where established in 1957(that is the offline store of course) and according to their website they are ‘specialized in high quality performance outdoor clothing and equipment‘. “Great customer service, no sales tax, free shipping and unbeatable prices.” Well that sounds great to start with, let’s take a closer look at what they have to offer.
When you visit their website at www.USoutdoor.com, you immediately see that their product range is huge and that requires a good navigation. You can choose to navigate to the mens department, womens department or go directly to the gear shop, the brands selection or the discount outlet shop. In the men/womens department you can find all the different types of clothing you are ever going to need when you go on a outdoor activity. From Jackets and shirts to footwear and sunglasses, it’s all there. Some of the brands they sell are The North Face, Patagonia and EX Officio.
In the Gear shop you can find gear for the different outdoor activities that you maybe involved in. Some of the activities include gear for camping, climbing, bags and backpacks, hiking, wakeboarding, skiing and snowboarding and so on. If you are looking for stuff from a specific brand, you can search by brand name. I checked out the list of brand names that they sell and there are just too many brands to name in this post, so i doubt that anyone would have a lack of choice when it comes to that, all the big names are on their list.
Something you should definitely checkout every once in a while is their discount outlet store. Here you can find last seasons clothing and gear with discounts up to 60%! And you will also find the big brands in this section for a lot less then normal.
If you need any advice on buying gear or clothing for an outdoor activity and you need some advice you can contact them.
When it comes to outdoor backpacks, you have got plenty of choice at USoutdoor.com. They have daypacks, weekend packs, overnight packs, technical daypacks and much more. And again, if you don’t know what to buy, you can contact them for advice. So far the review for USoutdoor.com, if you are an outdoor enthusiast you are definitely going to like this shop, have fun!
(Disclosure note: If you choose to buy from USoutdoor.com through the links on this site, i will be compensated. However, this review is in no way written to make you buy stuff, this review is my honest opinion.)

I know that there’s like REI, Northface, and Any Mountain. Any more else that are are popular. Also do you know if REI and Any Mountain have gift cards?
I’d try Dick’s Sporting Goods or Gander Mountain. you could also try online shops like Cabella’s.

I’ve also heard they can be difficult to balance
Does anyone own one? do they actually work?

Ok i have a lab mix and shes breed With mostly high energy breeds…I got her a backpack a few months ago and she loves it…she walks better and is the first to lay down when we are done walking…I think it would work but you would have to train the dog to the backpack properly…also try a gentle leader my lab was the dog who would run if you didn’t get her on a chain in time now shes the dog walking the neighborhood With no leash.
